Have you ever wanted to try Life Drawing, but weren’t quite sure what goes on behind those closed doors?
Halina Paterson is running a beginners workshop to demystify the process. She is a very successful teacher with a thorough and fun teaching style that will give you confidence to attend a group.
The Beginner’s Workshop with Halina Paterson is on Saturday, February 22nd, 2020 from 10am –4pm at a cost of $85 with materials provided. Just come along and have fun.
This workshop is hosted by the Noosa Life Art Circle: a wonderful group to begin your Life Drawing journey!
It is the best value on the coast at a cost of $20 a weekly session which provides three hours drawing rather than the customary two hours, and very professionally conducted.
This covers hall rental, use of easels and tables, model fee – can be male or female - tea/coffee and very nice biscuits. The members are very friendly and helpful to new or budding artists , and are in no way judgemental.
The Noosa Life Art Circle meets in the Church Hall of the Uniting Church in Tewantin (corner Poinciana and Werin Sts) on Tuesdays from 9.00-12.30 to draw /paint a live model, using any preferred medium.
The Art Circle began with a group of dedicated artists who decided collectively to hire a model on a regular basis and share the expenses, in order to foster and promote the skills of Life Drawing which is basic for the understanding of human anatomy and movement in art . The group which has been in existence for 19 years, is now organised by Malcolm Short and Giuliana de Witts.
Life Drawing will start again on Tuesday, 14th January, 2020. If you decide to join the group there is an annual insurance fee of $25.
